You know almost everyone you meet says they have a great book idea, and once you get them talking about it you discover that more often than not, it's not great—it's bloody brilliant!!!!!

Sadly though, most awesome book ideas fade away to nothing or remain just that ‘an idea’ because they either didn't have enough belief in themselves to give it a go, OR simply thought it would be too hard and didn't know where or how to begin.

Did you know writing books is not this unique occupation or thing that the very elite few do anymore? 

No.... everyday people that serve you at the local shop, teach your kids at school, go to Uni, or who are stay at home mums, tradies, solo traders and entrepreneurs are all writing! Even Nanna’s, Poppy’s and retirees are writing legacy books about their lives to hand down to their following generations! I LOVE this! How I wish we all had a legacy book in each of our families. What an insight into our previous generations that would be!

Regardless of who they are what they do, most people won’t tell you they’re writing a book. Instead they quietly tap away on their manuscripts—I know this because I've been mentoring them and guiding many of these same people through the steps on how to do it.

I meet them, speak to them and see this happening everyday now. I helped a mum from school last year who wrote an absolutely cracking parananomal romance - this book was soooooo good, I could not put it down!! I recently helped a grandmother through a book that she channeled! Honestly, there is insane talent out there everywhere!

Just like J.K and many of the new authors I’ve helped over the last few years, you have no idea what will happen if you don't give it a crack.  Take it from me—a work from home Mum who has written 10 books in 12 years. It happens and the best thing is that you don't have to have ANY experience—I didn't!

I’ll walk you through the steps on laying out and planning your manuscript and we’ll go one step further by covering some of the steps you’ll need to take to get ready to sell your book after it's printed.

This fantastic mini workshops is being held in conjunction with the release of my new titles How to Write Your Book and How to Market Your Book.

The workshops are essential for anyone who has ever thought of writing a book and anyone who has a book already and needs to sell it.

This event is being held on the Sunshine Coast.  Tickets are $37 including the workshop, tea/coffee and morning tea.

A LITTLE MORE ON THE WORKSHOP!

 The workshop is being held in Kawana on Friday the 17th of March and will be split into 2 sections—writing and marketing a book.

In the first half of the workshop, I'll be sharing with you some tips on writing a book, then I'll walk you through the manuscript draft so you can begin your manuscript and lay it out on the day!

The second half of the workshop will cover marketing. What you need to have in place and what you need to do to sell your books after it's written.

The Early bird special of $37 is now open for all bookings made until the 4th of February 2017.

Spaces are limited for this live event so I can get around to each person attending and have a look at their working manuscript as we go.
