Begin writing your book & learn how to market it after it's finished!
“I want to do something splendid…Something heroic or wonderful that won’t be forgotten after I’m dead…I think I shall write books.” Louisa May Alcott
You know almost everyone you meet says they have a great book idea, and once you get them talking about it you discover that more often than not, it's not great—it's bloody brilliant!!!!!
Sadly though, most awesome book ideas fade away to nothing or just remain as an idea because the person either didn't have enough belief in themselves to give it a go, OR simply thought it would be too hard and didn't know where or how to begin.
Did you know writing books is not this unique occupation or thing that the very elite few do anymore?
No.... everyday people that serve you at the local shop, teach your kids at school, are studying at uni, are stay at home mums, tradies, and entrepreneurs are all writing!
'I absolutely enjoyed attending the 'Write your Book, Market your Book' workshop that you held today Rachael! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and for gifting us with your passion for the industry. A very inspirational morning! I'm so excited to keep writing my books and fulfilling my dreams of one day becoming a published Author. Thank you!' Vicki Speller
Retirees are writing legacy books about their lives to hand down to their following generations! Which I LOVE! How we all need legacy books in our lives!
Regardless of what they do in their public lives, there are new writers everywhere quietly tapping away on their manuscripts—I know this because I've been mentoring them and guiding them through the steps on how to do it.
I meet them, speak to them and see this happening everyday now. I met a mum from school last year who I helped through the writing of her book—she wrote an absolutely cracking parananomal romance—this book was soooooo good, I could not put it down!! There is insane talent out there everywhere!
'Today I attended the "Write Your Book" workshop. I loved every moment of it. Thank you Rachael. I was hanging onto every word you said. I have a much clearer vision now as to how I get started & see the process through. I look forward to reading & referring to your 2 books. You attracted a great group of people to the workshop. I look forward to reading everyone's books.' Kellie Harriden
Just like J.K and just like me, you have no idea what will happen if you don't have a go. Take it from me—a work from home Mum who has written 10 books in 12 years. It happens, and the best thing is that you don't have to have ANY experience—I didn't!
Now it's your turn!
This workshop is essential for anyone who has ever thought of writing a book and anyone who already has a book and needs to sell it.
This event will be held on the Gold Coast. Tickets are $57 which includes the workshop, tea/coffee and morning tea. If you're quick, you may be able to pick up one of 5 early bird special tickets for just $47 using the codeword 'BOOKS' when booking. Please note, there are 5 tickets only available at this price.
'I attended the write your book, publish your book workshop, it was great, so informative and inspirational. I can't wait to start putting pen to paper with all of Rachael's tips and advise' Paul Monaghan
The workshop is split into 2 sections—writing and marketing a book.
In the first half of the workshop, I'll be sharing with you some tips on writing a book, then I'll walk you through the manuscript draft so you can begin your manuscript and lay it out on the day!
The second half of the workshop will cover marketing. What you need to have in place and what you need to do to sell your books after it's written.
Spaces are limited so I can get around to each attendee and have a look at their working manuscripts as we go—there will not be a waiting list for this event so once the event is full, no more tickets will be released.
Attend the first half, or attend the second half OR attend both!
